Sixth Grade

Linda Rice

Hello, my name is Linda Rice. It is a pleasure to introduce myself as the sixth grade teacher at Taylor’s Crossing Public Charter School. My heart is in education. I love being a teacher. I love spending my days with children, laughing, learning, and experiencing new things together. I feel strongly that each day our children's classrooms should be filled with high expectations and challenging learning activities, surrounded in a very positive environment. The Harbor Method of Teaching is a doorway to this type of wonderful learning. I am so excited to be a part of this great school.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. I have spent the last 24 years teaching at Iona Elementary School. Teaching in the fifth, fourth, and second grades. I loved my years there.

My husband Evan and I have four children, one girl Lindy and three boys Alan, Coleter, and Garrett. We love to spend time outdoors camping, riding motorcycles, and skiing in the winter. My boys are very involved with football, basketball, and baseball. Lindy dances and is very involved with music. So our spare time is spent with our children. I love being their mother.

I am so excited to get to know your children and be a part of their lives. The faculty and parents of Taylor's Crossing are wonderful and I know we will have a fantastic year.
