Taylor’s Crossing Public Charter School would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and invite you to become a part of our athletic program. Participation in athletics can be very important in high school and forming one’s work ethic for the future. We at TCPCS pride ourselves on teaching our student-athletes the importance of character, teamwork, and dedication. We are making every effort to build our program and invite you to participate.
Our first step in becoming a reputable program was to develop a relationship with Nike and Eastbay, who are leaders in supplying the finest athletic equipment in the world. Our relationship with them allows us to receive special discounts for our players and teams. It also provides us the ability to reward all our students through our positive behavior program.
Our Athletic Department is headed by our Athletic Director/Administrator, Seth Boyle.
Mr. Boyle has an extensive background in college, high school and club sports. He has coached for 30 years (10 of those being at the collegiate level). He has also been a licensed outdoor and indoor soccer referee for the same amount of time. He has helped over 60 players receive scholarships to various colleges throughout the United States. He has also coached players that have played professionally and for the United States Soccer Team. He has a knowledge of the recruiting process and is able to guide student athletes through the process.
One of the reasons for the excitement of building a successful athletic program is the excellent coaching staff which we have hired. Our coaches are knowledgeable and dedicated in their field. Most important, our coaches really care for the student as a person. Their ability to work individually with our student athletes is second to none. All of our coaches currently teach and work at the school, which enables them the opportunity to guide our student athletes through the process of navigating both sports and academics.
